adidas and Goodyear have collaborated before, so when Jeremy Scott unveiled his update on the Metro Attitude Hi, the adidas JS Wings, images of the Mercury boot logo came to mind. That resemblance is considerably stronger now that the wings have been moved from an eyelet add-on to the heel of this new adidas JS Wings 2.0. Part of Scott's adidas predators ObyO capsule, the Wings 2.0 appears above in a finish befitting the aforementioned Greek messenger god, with a slightly yellowed midsole giving way to white and grey marbled leather on the upper. Additional and likely wackier colorways are sure to follow, but this is the quintessential JS Wings 2.0 colorway and is available now from RMK on eBay. Now we turn our attention to another interesting offering from the line, the Jeremy Scott Nizzas. The eccentric designer has created some worldly new looks for the simple canvas Nizza silhouette. There will be two different versions, both conveying a sense of global culture. One pair features a blue upper covered by a map grid and stylized globe graphics with each continent represented by a different accent color. The other Jeremy Scott Nizza sports a colorful African Kenta cloth print that is balanced by some solid black touches on the midsole, toe cap and additional accents. That's what Jeremy Scott said with regard to his breakout performance, the 2002 adidas Forum Mid Money' that sent shockwaves through the industry we still feel to this day. adidas Originals reached out to find collaborators to hearken back to the past but with a twist and launched the B-Sides' collection with brands like BAPE and UNDFTD contributing their own historically-influenced designs.
Jeremy Scott continues to wreak havoc on any traditional standards and set guidelines atop his silhouettes, as this crazy adidas Originals creation gets the Dark Knight callout thanks to the Gotham inspired aesthetic. The pair looks a bit surrealist to coincide with the latest batch of films, but perhaps this shoe would've been the perfect fit for George Clooney's Batman, a character that instead opted for a boot inspired by the Air Jordan 6.
