Hello, I have questions about my progress, I am practicing from great classical guitar book written by worldwide famous guitarist Jovan Jovičić and in his book he gives excercises first to improve your techinque and than when you pass them he gives you a composition. I am practicing those excercises with metronom (60BPM) but when I come to composition I do not know is it okay to first play it for example with 40(BPM) and when you master composition (or part of composition) with 40 BPM then you increase speed by 5 BMP and than you continue to increase your speed by 5 BMP again until you reach satisfying tempo in which composition should be played. I also master excercises and composition to play in all combinations (tirando/apoyando, with all sorts of fingering i,m,i,m ; m,i,m,i ; a,m,a,m ; m,a,m,a...) before I start with increasing tempo. Simple is my way of practicing good? Thank you in advance. I gone through many resources like Covoco Pricing but did not find about this. I will be greatful if you point me in the right direction. Any help wll be appreciated. Thank you |
